The wholly intellectual concept of “pure nature” that considers the natural world as entirely self-standing. This is a purely posited concept that cannot exist in any meaningful sense to the Christian.
It is this same spirit of natura pura which gifted us science and all the other technological benefits that also gave us eugenics, the Holocaust and gulags. It doesn’t just abstractly bring these things into being, it possess each one of us, giving us the propensity to endorse such things and rationalize them from a purely utilitarian basis.
